Brooke Gladstone

On the Media

Beginning her journalism career as a reporter for Current, the public broadcasting newspaper, Brooke Gladstone later joined National Public Radio in 1987. She edited several award-winning reports and received a Peabody Award, an Overseas Press Club Award and an Ohio State award while serving as senior editor for Weekend Edition and All Things Considered, consecutively. From 1992 to 1995, Gladstone reported on the early days of post-Communist Russia for NPR, and has served as NPR’s first media correspondent since then. She is co-host and managing editor of On the Media.
